This website is powered by 11ty/Eleventy. 11ty is a static site generator written in JavaScript that converts Markdown (and other formats) into the HTML you see here. I followed this setup guide, and hosted the content with Cloudflare pages. GitHub actions and Cloudflare pages handle the page builds. I followed this Cloudflare pages guide to allow Cloudflare to pull and build from my GitHub repository. Unami appears to be a nice open source alternative to Google Analytics.
The lambda because it looks cool, half-life, and I've used the symbol in my terminal prompts for a long time. It changes colors based on a python script. The title bar is inspired by a terminal with the present working directory serving as a breadcrumb navigation of sorts. I've kept things small and simple where possible. It is my goal to keep the website < 14kB. Motivated by Why your website should be under 14kB in size.
